Terms of Service

By accessing or using the ROKPilots platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

To use the Platform, you must create an account by authenticating through Discord OAuth. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Each person may only maintain one account. Sharing accounts between multiple individuals is not permitted.

The Platform supports two primary user roles: Buyers are users who hire pilots to perform work on their Rise of Kingdoms accounts. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate account credentials through the Platform's secure credential exchange and for confirming or disputing work completion in a timely manner. Pilots are users who offer their Rise of Kingdoms expertise as a service. Pilots must complete an application, maintain their profile with accurate information, and deliver work as described in accepted bookings. Pilots are assigned a level (Rookie, Proven, Elite, or Legend) based on their completed bookings and average rating.

All bookings are made through the Platform's booking system. Buyers select a pilot, choose a time slot or service, and submit payment via PayPal. Prices are set by pilots within the rate range allowed by their level. Payment is collected at the time of booking and held in escrow until the work is confirmed as complete or the auto-release timer expires.

The Platform uses an escrow system to protect both buyers and pilots. When a buyer pays for a booking, the funds are held securely by the Platform. Funds are released to the pilot only when one of the following occurs: the buyer confirms that the work has been completed satisfactorily, the 48-hour auto-release timer expires without buyer action or dispute, or an admin resolves a dispute in the pilot's favor. If a dispute is filed, funds remain in escrow until the dispute is resolved by an admin.

Either party may file a dispute on a booking through the Platform dashboard. Disputes must include a written description and supporting evidence such as screenshots or chat logs. Once a dispute is filed, both the buyer and the pilot have the opportunity to respond. An admin will review all submitted evidence and make a final decision. Possible outcomes include a full refund to the buyer, a partial refund with the remainder released to the pilot, or full release of funds to the pilot. Admin decisions on disputes are final.

Pilots agree to: perform work as described in accepted bookings, communicate promptly with buyers regarding scheduling and progress, maintain a minimum average rating of 4.0 to remain active (falling below triggers a probation period), keep their availability calendar and profile information up to date, and handle buyer account credentials with care and confidentiality. Pilots must not retain buyer account credentials after a booking is complete.

Buyers agree to: provide accurate account credentials through the Platform's secure credential exchange system, confirm or dispute work completion in a timely manner, leave honest and fair reviews based on their actual experience, and not attempt to contact pilots for services outside of the Platform. Buyers should change their account credentials after a booking is complete as a security best practice.

The Platform charges a transaction fee on each booking, paid by the buyer. Free users pay a 5% platform fee; Premium members ($9.99/month) pay a reduced 2% fee. The platform fee is calculated on the gross booking amount and retained by ROKPilots. Membership pricing and fee percentages are subject to change with prior notice.

Pilots may belong to teams managed by a Team Administrator ("Team Admin"). Team Admins set a commission rate between 10% and 30% which is deducted from the net booking amount (gross price minus the platform fee). The commission split is calculated automatically by the Platform and is displayed during the booking process. Team Admins are responsible for managing their own pilots, setting commission rates, and ensuring accurate PayPal payment details. The Platform is not responsible for disputes between Team Admins and their pilots regarding commission rates or payouts. Team Admins receive their commission via PayPal payout after the booking is completed and payment is released. Independent pilots (not affiliated with a team) receive 100% of the net booking amount with no commission deducted.

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban: Sharing account credentials outside the Platform's secure credential exchange system. Conducting transactions off-platform to avoid escrow protection or fees. Engaging in fraud, including creating fake accounts, submitting false dispute evidence, or manipulating reviews. Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users. Attempting to reverse or dispute PayPal payments outside the Platform's dispute process. Using the Platform to distribute malware, spam, or any malicious content. Impersonating other users or Platform staff.

ROKPilots is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lilith Games or any of its subsidiaries. Account piloting may violate Lilith Games' Terms of Service for Rise of Kingdoms. By using this Platform, you acknowledge that you understand the risks involved, including potential consequences to your game account such as warnings, suspensions, or bans imposed by Lilith Games. ROKPilots is not responsible for any actions taken against your game account by Lilith Games or any other party as a result of using piloting services. You use this Platform at your own risk and discretion.

All content, design, code, and branding on the Platform are the property of ROKPilots. Users retain ownership of content they submit (reviews, profile information, dispute evidence) but grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display and use that content in connection with the service. "Rise of Kingdoms" and related trademarks are the property of Lilith Games and are used here for identification purposes only.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ROKPilots is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid through the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by pilots, though our escrow and dispute systems are designed to protect both parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or behavior that undermines Platform integrity. Users may also request deletion of their account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, any pending escrow funds will be handled according to the dispute resolution process. Completed booking history and reviews may be retained in anonymized form.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or Platform announcement.
